You must pre-determine your niche before you consider working online. Do you like writing? You can sell your articles online or freelance for companies who want you to write for them. Is graphic design your thing? Do graphic design for other companies online. If you want to succeed, know thyself.
If you love to draw, you can sell some of the photography that you create on the web. Initially, you may want to post your goods on Craigslist or a smaller site to get the word out and see if people will bite. If there is a high following, you can move to a more prominent site.
Check out the reviews before you hang your shingle at any one site. For example, working for Google as a search result verifier is a legit way to make some extra cash. Google is a huge company and they have a reputation to uphold, so you can trust them.
To make real money online, consider launching a freelance writing career. There are numerous reputable sites that offer decent pay for article and content writing services. By checking into these options and reading feedback of each company, it really is possible to earn an income without ever leaving your home.
Ask others if you can advertise for them. For example, you can use your website to host advertisements. You can get money for putting an ad on a social media site or blog. The ad re-directs the readers to another site where they can shop.
Don’t be afraid to make contact with real people, just because you’re looking for money making opportunities online. While most sites are self-explanatory and can be operated with little to no assistance, you can find out more about legitimacy by conducting conversations with site owners or other employees. If you don’t hear back anything, that could be a red flag!
Translate documents if you are fluent in a second language and want to make money on the side. Check out the freelancing sites to find people who will need things altered into a different language. This can be anyone from a large corporation to an individual who wants to translate something for a friend.

As stated above, there are lots of ways to increase your online income. Use these suggestions to help you get started. You will be amazed at how quickly the money can add up. Come back to this page and others like it to continue growing your online work portfolio as you go.
A lot of people make some serious money from home selling junkyard auto parts. My husband’s been doing this for a while now and just loves it! I’m still amazed at how untapped this market is. Maybe because when you sell junkyard auto parts you’re not sitting at a computer all the time?
But working from home doesn’t always mean making money online or just from your computer, especially if you’re doing any type of arbitrage deals.
And there are thousands of people looking for cheap auto parts online. Why not get in the game and be one of their salvage auto parts suppliers?
This is business that you really don’t have be a mechanic or detail specialist to make some real money, especially if you’re just dealing with interior or exterior restoration parts or basic engine parts.
For example, a head rest is a head rest. Unscrew some parts and pull it out. Door panels are door panels. Unbolt them from the hinges and take it off. Engine components may be a bit trickier but you can always go on YouTube and find out what the parts are, what they do and even how to remove them.
But even in this type of a business, you may want to specialize in a niche. What do I mean by a niche when it comes to used auto body parts? Pretty easy. Here are some ways to drill down a niche just by specializing…
- … in a particular make and model of vehicle
- … in sports cars
- … in truck parts
- … in engine parts
- … in exterior body parts
- … in interior restoration parts
Just think about all of the parts that go into building a vehicle, whether it’s a truck or car. Some parts are even interchangeable between makes and models. For example, I needed a new front fender for my 2001 Mercury Villager. Did you know that the 2001 Nissan Quest has an identical body to the same year Mercury Villager?
They do! So my husband took the parts off of a junked Quest and replaced the fender and front light assembly on my Villager.
The cup holder assembly in my Villager cracked too. But instead of replacing that unit, he found a narrow console with built-in cup holders from a Dodge SUV that fit perfectly between the front bucket seats of our Villager. Same color and texture as the interior of our car; that console looks like it came with our van!
So now we have three “new” cup holders in the front, and two additional cup holders for the rear seat, from one $10 used Dodge console.
You will have to do some research on eBay before going out and spending money. You can’t just go out and buy any junkyard auto parts and expect them to sell. There are some steps involved to making this a profitable at-home business.
- First, get a price list from your local salvage yard. Look for the least expensive parts on the list.
- Look up the parts on eBay and filter by Sold listings. Take an average of what those parts are selling for and see what your profit margin is. For example, if it’s going to cost you $10 to buy the part and it’s selling on average of $85 or more, and there are a lot of them being sold, you’ve got a winner.
- Take into consideration how much time and effort you want to put into pulling the parts off the vehicles. Some parts are pretty easy and you’ll only need a couple of screw drivers on hand. Other parts can be rather tricky, depending on whether you’re dealing with interior, exterior or under-the-hood parts.
- Another thing to think about is the weather! Here on the east coast it gets really blustery during the winter. And in the spring, it can get pretty muddy out in the yard. So you need to make sure you’re dressing for the weather – be prepared for anything.
You have probably heard stories about people making money from YouTube and wondered how you can do it. At the start it may sound unrealistic, but after you give it a try, you will be surprised by the result. The following are the best-proven methods for earning money from YouTube.
Monetize your videos with the YouTube partner program
After you have created several videos of whatever length, join the YouTube Partner Program. This means that you will be allowing YouTube to place ads to your videos. By so doing, you will acknowledge that there are no copyrighted materials in your video. The process takes just a minute to set up, and YouTube will select ads to be shown on all your video and then you can start earning a portion of the revenue.
Make videos, any videos.
You have to realize that, by just setting the monetization up, money will not start flowing quickly. You will have to make as many videos as possible. The better side of it is that it can be any video. Make one minute video that has some humor in it, talking about anything, and upload it. With time, you will start receiving revenue from the videos.
Set annotations to link to iTunes
Once your account is monetized, you can enable annotations that will provide links to Google Play, iTunes, and other websites. You can achieve this by just enabling the annotations and adding one to your video. This will instantly create traffic to sell your videos as they will have a greater target of viewers.
Make tutorials to teach your knowledge.
As you will realize, tutorials are very many on YouTube. From anything you know, you can create videos about it, teach others how to do it, and make money from the videos. You can decide to make fashion videos where you post videos that contain the latest trend, create lectures teaching your accounting or drawing skills, as well as videos containing a new dancing style that you gained.
Sell other people’s products as an affiliate marketer.
You can easily make a commission by selling other people’s product as an affiliate marketer. Thousands of companies give attractive deals to affiliate marketers who are willing to market their products. Big companies like eBay and Amazon can pay you a good amount of money if you market their products through your YouTube account. Your YouTube account can also be linked with other affiliate networks like Commission Junction, ShareAsale.com, and Click Bank.
Have you spent hours, maybe days or months trying to ‘make money online legit’ and find ‘affiliate programs that work’ with no luck? After many failed attempts at making money online, most people come to the conclusion that in order to work from home via the internet with a decent income you have to be in IT or just have vast ‘tech’ skills.
Subscribing to some of these ‘get rich quick’ websites is like buying knock-off Nike shoes from a street vendor. If it’s looks too good to be true, it probably is. While their sales pitch seems great and you think you are getting the ‘Real Deal’ you have gotten something that has little or no value. It’s no wonder people are giving up trying to find online employment after being frustrated with online scams and rip-offs. People looking for online jobs paying a decent salary without any extensive Internet knowledge, will be looking for a long time.
While the internet is full of websites offering ‘data entry employment’ or ‘make money filling out surveys’, there are some that offer real value. Many people are now getting into Internet Marketing and promoting digital products and software.
While Affiliate marketing has been very successful, you will likely find yourself wondering where to start or what products to sell. To achieve success at Affiliate marketing and make money online legit, you need to pick one idea or concept and devote yourself to it. Getting sidetracked half way through or giving up after a few attempts is the leading cause of failure with affiliate marketing. Many people feel they need to have multiple campaigns at the same time, spread themselves too thin and end up wearing themselves out before seeing a profit. The competition on the internet is fierce and it’s better to focus on one niche market than to be a ‘Jack of all trades’.
If you want to join a proven and successful Affiliate website, they are out there and you just need to dig a little. Find one that requires a membership as many of the free ones are magnets for scammers and spammers who prey on people looking to make a living online. If you do fall victim to a scam, take the experience and learn from it. It’s the people that continue to apply themselves that ultimately succeed.

Teenagers these days should learn the value of a dollar and the only way to do that is to let them make their own money. It can be quite tough trying to juggle a real day to day job at a cafe or store along with studies and sports, so instead of going out and looking for a job, learn of the many legal ways to make money online without much effort.
There are a few things you teenagers can do to earn some cash without starting your own site with a web host and doing all the big things, you can do the little things first which are easy enough to help you work and study at the same time. The upside of this is that online jobs are super flexible, letting you do it as and when you like and it won’t be stressful and affect your studies at all.
One of the best online jobs that are perfect for teens would be online paid surveys. It’s very easy to do, doesn’t take much effort and it doesn’t require anything more than a registration form which can be done in two minutes. There are quite a lot of sites, so look for those that are available in your country and sign up with as many as you want but do be careful and make sure you don’t get caught up in spam or cyber crime. If the site requests for credit information then exit it immediately, they’re paying you so they do not need your financial details.
The thing with paid survey is that you can pick which you want to do and which to skip, but the more you do then the more you earn. If you find it difficult to find sites that are safe then to name a few there is Treasuretrooper.com, CashCrate.com, Squidoo.com and a whole lot more. Paid surveys are actually market research where a company waiting to launch a new market sets up a survey to gain input about what people want from the product or service and they pay for that input. However, it doesn’t always have to be something new, a company could use it to gain feedback about something that already is out in the market today. It’s their way of getting to know what people want and how they can improve.
In addition to that, you’d have to take note of their method of payments as not all sites offer cash rewards, some might give you gifts, freebies, discount vouchers or maybe a sample of their products. If you want money only, then do surveys that give money and make sure you’ve got the necessary means to claim that money such as a checking account or a PayPal account.
There are many other things you can do if it’s not paid survey you could blog for money, create your own website and generate an income, sell some of the things you don’t use or no longer want on eBay and so much more. The opportunities online are pretty much endless, it’s how you put your talents to use that really counts.
Affiliate marketing is an online business model where you, as an affiliate, earn money by promoting and selling products or services produced by another business. Some affiliates are making six figures by putting the right products in front of the right people at the right time.
1. It’s Not A Get Rich Quick Scheme
If an affiliate program guarantees overnight riches, proceed with caution. Affiliate marketing is not a get rich quick scheme. Just like any other online business, it’s a real business and needs to be run like one.
2. Keep Up To Date
Affiliate marketing can be highly competitive and things do change. Keep yourself up to date by learning as much as you can about your niche, follow the trends, and doing the work required to be successful.
3. Use Effective Affiliate Marketing Tools
Any business needs a good business plan, together with the right tools of the trade. For affiliate marketing, this includes:
- A good blogging platform such as WordPress
- Useful plug-ins, starting from an SEO plug-in to a broken-link checker
- Followings learning guides and courses
- A keyword research tool such as Market Samurai
- An effective way of capturing leads and prospects
- A wide range of affiliate networks to compare and contrast products
- Affiliate tracking software
One of the more important aspects in business is communicating with your customer. Set up a blog and encourage comments. Also make comments on other blogs and forums that are similar to yours. This participation isn’t to always to sell anything but to find out what your future potential customers are looking for.
5. The Right Attitude
Having the right attitude is essential. If you think that you’ll only have to put in a small effort to gain the best results, then you’re going to be very disappointed. It does take time and work to generate income.
6. Be Honest
You can have the coolest marketing tools and the most expensive ads but they’ll mean nothing if you target market don’t trust you. Your audience have to know, like and trust you before they’ll consider buying from you.
7. It’s Not Just About Selling
Think of affiliate marketing as helping others to find solutions to problems that they have. This will let your efforts flow from genuineness as opposed to looking overeager in trying to make money.
Bum marketing is a term that was conceivable from the idea that affiliate marketing was so easy that any bum off the street could walk into a library, use a computer and make money online. It is basically a low cost form of affiliate marketing or marketing other people's products online for a commission.
Yes if you are prepared to put the work into it to get results. Unfortunately it is not a matter of turning on your computer and the money flows out your DVD drive like it does out of an ATM. Do not laugh but I am sure sometimes a few other marketers want people to believe it does.
Bum marketing or low cost affiliate marketing uses free methods to promote other people's products to earn a commission on each sale. The commission can be as high as 75% so it can be very lucrative.
The bum marketing method can be used to sell anything online from physical products such as clothes, shoes, books to digital products such as ebooks, scripts or software. The commission rate on physical products is generally only about 5 to 10% but on digital products it can be as high as 75%. This makes digital products far more lucrative than physical products. The other great thing about digital products is that people today want things immediately so their instant download to their computer is very appealing to them.
With bum marketing you can start with just a computer, internet connection and some know how. You do not need those programs costing hundreds of dollars to be successful. In fact, these expensive programs can be more of a hindrance than a benefit because they can lead to information overload where it is not unusual for someone to become so confused they are scared to do anything. This is not good as you need to take action to succeed with bum marketing. Just remember that it is in these marketers interests for you to fail so that they can sell you more products to make money online from home as that is how they make money.
What you need to do to get started with the bum marketing method is to find a guide or blueprint written by someone who knows the business and started out with no experience but a determination to succeed. Find the simplest form of advice you can as you do not want to get confused with all the internet jargon. You want something that is simple to follow but works.
There are many ways to make money online it is just a matter of what works best for you. I have or do continue to use various techniques. The trick is dodging the scams and the promises of get rich quick or make money fast that is indeed rare when you are an affiliate marketer or publisher a little investigation will in most cases expose the scam and investigating these scams are best done by investigating in know affiliate marketing forums. For the person without a website selling stuff online through Craig’s list, eBay or some other online auction site may be your best alternative.
Still if you’re without a website there are free options for setting up a blog and possibly selling affiliate products that are related to your blog posts. You can set up a Blogger account at Blogger.com. Respected affiliate networks that come to mind that offer thousands of products through various merchants are LinkShare Commission Junction and Share A Sale. If you can’t find a product there to sell you can partner with Amazon and sign up as an affiliate and sell just about anything they have to offer.
I have been making money online since 1999 and have discovered that to make money online you need the right resources. With the right resources and tools that help automate many processes making money online is fun and an enjoyable way of making a living or supplementing your existing income!
I really enjoy the freedom the internet allows you to make money online and there are multitudes of ways to make money online with and without a website. It is nice to have your own web site but it is not a requirement.
Being successful online requires the ability to write coherently and consistently and a commitment to stick through it over a period of time without a paycheck to show for it. So if you are looking to make like a regular job where payday comes on certain days and you like you current level of income I suggest you keep you day job and not waste your time making money online.
Another great way to make money that has the free website and affiliate marketing and requires no is Squidoo. Squidoo allows you to sell products on their pages based on the content you provide, it is easy to use and has a great community forum that is very active and helpful. Even better you get paid each month for the products that were sold or the ads that were clicked. Squidoo is an excellent example of one of the many ways to make money online. There are literally thousands of ways to make money online but it is up to you as an entrepreneur to make money.
It could be advice you’ve given yourself or it is more than likely advice given to you by family, friends and teachers who care about your best interests.
The matter of the fact is that this conventional wisdom and advice is often a combination of half-truths, myths and just plain lies about what it takes to build a business online. On top of that, the people who give you this advice have probably never been successful themselves.
Before you get depressed and punch your keyboard, you should take the positives out of this. Because there is so much terrible information and hype posted everywhere building a business it keeps the real competition down.
Meaning more money in your bank account if you ignore it…
So you must learn to ignore bad advice and stop making excuses for yourself! And in this post I want to clear your head of any false beliefs you have so you can go on and make money online.
False Belief No.1 – “I’m too old/ I’m too young”
People who want to buy products on the internet do not care about your age; they only care about what you can offer them. It sounds a bit selfish but it works in your favour.
As long as you are genuine and offer real value to the customer it’s a case of if you have what they want, they’ll buy it.
False Belief No.2 – “I’m no good with computers”
Can you move a mouse and switch on a computer? Can you read plain text and follow simple steps? Good, because that’s all the technical knowledge your going to need.
As long as you have the ability to learn a few easy skills step by step you can create an online business.
Back in the eighties when computers were huge and only read plain text you did have to know programming to do anything with a computer. Luckily for us, these days you don’t need any programming skills to get a perfectly fine website up and running using the power of outsourcing which I will talk about in a separate blog post.
False Belief No.3 – “I don’t have enough time”
This is plain wrong, this is the exact excuse most people use to put off important tasks.
I understand that some people love the structure of a job where they show up each day, and do what the boss tells them to do until they go home. They are content trading their precious time for money.
However, if you’re an entrepreneur you can get things done on your own without having a boss telling you what to do. Are you an entrepreneur? I hope so.
The real trick here is to always know your very next step and to make sure you take small actions to complete that step regularly.
False Belief No.4 – “I don’t have enough money”
Wait, you don’t have enough money to buy a domain name for $10 a year and $5 a month to host your website? I bet you do and if your finances are really that tight then why not just not eat out for dinner one night a month?
People have this belief that it costs hundreds, if not thousands of dollars to be up and running with a full-featured, good looking websites and that just is not the case.
You can outsource this whole process for a very low price.
Another handy little secret most people don’t even think about is leveraging other peoples time, equipment and expertise.
If you want to shoot a video but you don’t have a camera. Don’t go out and buy a brand new one, ask around and chances are someone will have a camera they will happily let you borrow for a day or too.
False Belief No. 5 – “I’m not educated enough”
This should be worried about this – that is if you are applying to university or law school. You will need some impressive grades and don’t forget all those extra-curricular activities.
Wait, you’re not applying to law school? You just want to create an online business and make money on the internet? Then why should your education – or lack of education stop you?
This is exactly the same principle as in False Belief No.1. People who buy on the web don’t really care about your background as long as you offer them value and solve their problem.
False Belief No.6 – “There’s too much competition”
Your main goal is to make money, not become a pioneer.
Think about it, it’s a good thing to enter an established market because you know there is already a high demand for your product. And here’s the really great news, most of your competition online are terrible marketers!
False Belief No.7 – “It’s a bad economy”
It is true that every day newspapers, the internet and television are full of negatives stories about the economy. That doesn’t mean you can’t still make money..
Let’s say for example that there is a 10% unemployment rate (very high) and another 5% have given up looking altogether. That still leaves 85% employment and those people are still buyers.
Okay so maybe some online markets will suffer more than others but if you offer a high quality product in a market with high demand you will still make money, it has been proven by hundreds of internet marketers all over the world.
From this point forward you cannot use any the above 7 points above as an excuse for not starting your online business. The biggest obstacle you must face in the beginning is yourself!
Bookmark this page just and if you ever feel yourself starting to make excuses come back here and convince yourself that you CAN make money online. I know you can.
